A very tidy Lachenal English concertina No 55351 c 1910.
It has black ends with a protective metal plate which I think was to prevent damage to the wood for someone playing who had quite long nails. Metal buttons, steel reeds and 5 fold bellows.
It has had all the usual work done-new pads, valves, straps and tuned to concert pitch.
It is in very tidy condition with good bellows and plays very well.
It also has bowing valves but I have never been able to properly explain their use to players so you might prefer to look up what they are supposed to do online!
A great middle range instrument.
