A completely rebuilt Wheatstone No 34223 c 1936. This is not from top period-which ended a few years before but it still has the same reeds as the top period so in most ways plays just as well.
This was originally a mahogany-ended one with plastic buttons but it seemed worth the cost of putting on a new set of beautiful ends which now have bushed metal buttons.
The ones after the Second World War are poor instruments compared with good period but this middle period turned out some very decent instruments-and this is one.
It has new pads, valves, straps, recent bellows and the new ends with their bushings and metal keys.
It is tuned to concert pitch.
Just one of a huge range of anglos not illustrated on this site-so if you are looking for something-ask!
