|Type : Anglo|
Make : Jeffries
Model : 44 key in C/G
Price : £3750
This is a Jeffries anglo which has been converted from a Jeffries duet.
It was just by Nigel Sture and it is a very good job.
It has raised metal ends, metal buttons , steel reeds and 6 fold bellows.
It was probably made in the 1920's-the name stamp is very worn but it has the earlier gold tooling and papers which the very late ones didn't have.
It has been fitted with new pads, valves, straps, a top run bellows rebind and tuned to concert pitch.
It is in good condition and plays well with that Jeffries sound that only they really have.
It is normal concertina size-just around 6 1/4 inches across the end.
It has the drones in D for Celtic playing but it would be a simple job to re-tuned them to a more usual C if that is required.
A perfect instrument for someone wanting a quality anglo with Jeffries looks and sound but who doesn't want to pay the price that an original Jeffries anglo would cost.
One of a huge range of anglos of various qualities, makers and types in stock.
