A very tidy Lachenal anglo number 190195 -probably 1920's.
It has bone buttons-which I have had bushed for a quieter action-metal ends, steel reeds and a brand new set of 6 fold bellows.
It has just been restored with new pads, valves, straps , bushings and the bellows-a lot of money was spent on it and it is of course in concert pitch.
You can probably see that it is marked , "S.A" in the fretwork which of course stands for Salvation Army and that is why it was made originally in Ab/Eb to play along with the brass instruments-it has been tuned down- but this works well with Ab as it is not a large step down so the reeds still play well.
It looks good, plays well and is in the most popular and rare key for Morris and English sessions.
Very unusually I have a number of other G/D's in stock at present -which never seems to happen in most years.
