|Type : Anglo|
Make : Jones
Model : 26 Key in G/D
Price : £800
A Jones 26 key anglo no 23214 c1890 I would guess .
It has mahogany ends, bone buttons, steel reeds and 5 fold bellows.
It has a stamp on the right hand for the Salvation army.
It has been restored with new pads, valves, straps bellows rebind and re-paper and then tuned to concert.
This is a decent concertina -certainly for the price it is.
Not particularly bright-more mellow and not especially fast-but not too slow.
Great for someone who might want to sing in those keys or play English or Morris tunes in sessions.
G/D's are very rare and the most I have eve had at one time would be about four but we have six on the shelves at present going from the level of this instrument up to a top Jeffries-and there might be another one on the repair pile!
