|Type : English|
Make : Wheatstone
Model : Aeola 64 Key Tenor-Treble
Price : £3500
An early Aeola No 23557 which would probably be from around 1905.
It is a 64 key which is best described as a normal treble with eight extra notes below the norm and eight extra note above-an extended treble going down to tenor C on the right.
It has metal ends, metal buttons, steel reeds and 6 fold bellows.
It is a fabulous playing instrument but has palm wear to the metal ends and is generally not quite as pristine as I usually have-but there is nothing wrong with it-or the way it plays
I have checked it through-changed a few valves etc and fine tuned it.
It comes in a rather scruffy but useable hard case.
Priced to sell.
If you don't want beauty but do want class-this is it.
