A Lachenal Paragon model No 55104-probably around the First World War period.
It has metal buttons, rosewood ends, brass reeds and 5 fold bellows.
It has been fitted with new pads, valves, straps and tuned to concert pitch.
Comes in its original hard case which is in good restorable condition.
It plays quietly and is not staggeringly fast but it is certainly a good instrument to learn on and is way more sensible a purchase than one of those higher price accordion-reeded English concertinas you can see on Ebay that just lose you a load of money. We would certainly take this one back at what is paid for it in an upgrade situation and that won't happen with the expensive copies.
One of a whole pile of learners' instruments in stock.
