This concertina has been soldType : Duet
Make : Lachenal
Model : 61 Key Maccann
Price : £1800
I am selling this for an old customer who is not using this instrument at present and wishes to see it played again.
It is a 61 key Maccann No 4356 which should be around the First World War period.
It has metal ends , metal buttons, steel reeds and 8 fold bellows. It comes in its original leather case which is in pretty good condition except that the hinge on the lid is weak and needs a leather patch to support it.
It has been restored with recent pads, valves, straps and tuned to concert pitch.
As I checked it out and did a service I noticed that it had originally been done by Colin Dipper as it has his stamp inside.
It is a lovely instrument in great condition and I am selling it at a "come and get me price" for an early sale as it is a bargain at £1800.
