|Type : Anglo|
Make : Lachenal
Model : 22 Key in C/G
Price : £575
A very rare model of anglo-a 22 key which has the massive advantage that it has a D#/C# on the right hand and a Bb/G# extra on the left. This multiplies the number of keys that you can play over those of a normal 20 key.
It is labelled for Roylance- A music store in London in the 2nd half of the 19th C
It has bone buttons , the fancier rosewood ends, steel reeds and 5 fold bellows.
It has been restored with new pads, valves, straps and tuned to concert pitch.
This has the numbered buttons of the first anglos from the 1860-75 period and it is 22301 which is probably 1870's. It does not have the normal Lachenal marks on the handle as they were not in use until around the number 50000.
It plays well and is in really decent condition for a concertina that is almost 150 years old.
Just one of a number of 20 key anglos in stock.
