A very tidy and nicely playing Excelsior model. The Excelsior is the ebonised-ended instrument with the foliate decorations on the end and the gold tooled bellows.
It has steel reeds and 5 fold bellows.
It is a 56 key extended treble which means that it is a normal treble with extra notes at the top of the scale-but it is exactly the same size as a 48 key.
In decent condition for a concertina -probably from the end of the 19th C and fully restored with new pads, valves and tuned to concert pitch. Plays well and sounds great. Comes in a non-original hard case but any instrument can be given a new gig bag as a preference.
